This
mini-track will focus on leveraging information technology for
competitiveness in emerging markets. The current level of development
of informationtechnology becomes
a regular part of business development in emerging markets. The use of modern
technologies that are not yet known to the public and competitors affect in a
direct way to improve competitiveness and to raise the level of innovation in
enterprises. It can be seen especially in the spheres of promoting, business
and customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning,
business intelligence, alternative trading system, innovativesystems, leverage Big Data
capabilities for competitive advantage, e-government and education. Leveraging information technology
may lead not only to economic growth, but also to the better quality
of life of residents in emerging economies, knowledge-based society and
social development. Particular importance and challenge in this process
become strategy and implementation of information technology, information on demand, system
platform, industry solutions, the infrastructure for leveraging information, data security,
adequate legislation and educational programs.

This minitrack covers
issues relating to the leveraging information technology for
competitiveness in emerging markets that may be examined from business,
economic, organizational, managerial, political, legal, educational,
psycho-social, or cultural perspective in emerging markets.
This
minitrack has cutting-edge research on emerging issues facing
IS-specialists (ie, the leaders of the IS at the project level, line staff and
external professional service providers), such as affect in a direct way to
improve competitiveness and to raise the level of innovations, promoting,
business and customer
relationship management, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence,
alternative trading system, innovative systems, leverage Big Data
capabilities for competitive advantage, e-government and
education.
This
minitrack shows the impact of strategy
and implementation of information technology, cloud
computing, information on demand, system
platform, social
networking, mobile technologies, industry
solutions, the
infrastructure for leveraging information, data security,
adequate legislation, educational programs onhuman resource management
computer, economic growth, but also on the better quality of
life of residents in emerging economies, knowledge-based society and
social development.
This minitrack
welcomes papers, which are
analysis at the level of workgroup, department, company, industry or individuals
in emerging markets. Developing research and extension theory on issues such
as the
IT human resources to the behavioural and managerial implications of managing in
emerging markets are welcome.
This minitrack also
welcomes articles which propose insight into the education and professional
development of contemporary and future generations of IT professionals in
emerging markets.
This minitrack
welcome all methods, research paradigms, practice and workshops learned to
focus on the
intersection of human resources and leveraginginformation technology in
emerging markets.
The following
are thematic suggestions (but not limited to) - topics for this
minitrack:
